Eclectus necessitates a constantly changing diet. We advocate consuming a diet that is as diverse as possible. The ideal cage dimensions for this bird are 36″ long, 24″ wide, and 66″ high, with 34″ wire spacing.

Every infant Solomon Island Eclectus that has been hand-fed is weaned onto a diet rich in different kinds of food. Our store-made soak-and-sprout mix, high-variety seed, and naturally colored pellets are used to wean them off the fruits and vegetables they were raised on.
